Myers Park’s Chinese Club aims to increase interest and educate others on the impact of learning the Chinese language, while also introducing others to Chinese culture. We impact our community by spreading awareness of the Chinese language and culture through teaching others about the significance of cultural holidays, traditional food, pop culture in China, and much more. Chinese Club was founded by Mason Harkleroad in 2018.

The Coding Club is a beginner-level programming club used to bring exposure to the subject of Computer Science. We will introduce coding principles, start programming in different languages, and do fun activities like programming with drones! This club provides a unique way to learn about the computer science subject without committing to a class at Myers Park. Currently, the computer science program at Myers Park is very limited, but with this club, we can change this! Stop by and you won’t regret it!

It was formally organized as the Spanish National Honor Society in 1953. The name was changed to Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica in 1959. At present there are over 2,000 national and international chapters.
