“AI Explorers” is a new student-led interest club that teaches young minds to understand the vast impact of artificial intelligence. Currently, AI is transforming every field and rapidly becoming more important in society. Our club will educate members about what AI is, how it will affect their futures, and encourage deep thinking about how it can be utilized for good. We will host events such as listening to guest speakers, holding AI bias detection workshops, and having discussions about how equitable AI is. The Criminology Club aims to provide an educational and inclusive environment for all students interested in criminology, whether it be a career in forensics, crime, law, or an interest in the field. Through our hands-on labs, interactive crime scene games, and educational discussions, we aim to foster a community of students who all share the same passion for understanding the scientific and legal side of crime. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is a group where students come together to grow in their faith and support each other. You don’t have to be an athlete to join—everyone is welcome. We meet once a month and have guest speakers, games, and food. We also take part in donation drives to support different foundations and give back to the community. The Myers Park French club is a student led club for students who are studying French in school, or just take interest in the language and culture. The Genders and Sexualities Alliance, or GSA, is a safe space for Myers Park students who identify as LGBTQ+ or are active supporters of the LGBTQ+ community. Meetings are a blend of relaxed social time and “business” (outreach, education, history, current legislation, etc). It is a wonderful place to meet new friends and celebrate our identities. The GSA meets in LA219 on 1st and 3rd Mondays from 2:30-3:30.

Greenhouse club is a student interest club that revolves around the education of environmentally based activities like harvesting, aquaponics, and gardening. The Harry Potter club is a student-led club that allows for pupils to connect over their passion for the Wizarding World. Alongside trivia competitions, wand designing, critical analysis of the novels and other magical activities, the club gives back to the community by reading the books to young children at elementary schools, helping to further education and passion for reading. Multicultural Cooking is a culinary-based club dedicated to educating students about cultures globally, by creating and learning about their popular cuisines. Through monthly country rotations, club members will be immersed into many cultures by making authentic dishes and reading provided information about their origins and significance in the country's culture.During club meetings ingredients for dishes will be provided by club leadership as well as music made in the country to enjoy. The Myers Park Maker club aims to inspire creativity and encourage the development of technical skills through making in a friendly and low stress environment. Club members meet at least once a month in the school makerspace to learn and build things with 3D printers, a laser cutter, and a variety of other tools. Skills including CAD and vector design are taught to take advantage of these fabrication techniques. The club offers training and lessons on how to operate the tools the makerspace offers. In addition, the Maker Club encourages entrepreneurship and service through making things.
