MPHS Baby Bundles Club supports the local non-profit Baby Bundles by volunteering at the warehouse, supporting fundraising efforts, and serving as ambassadors who are part of the Baby Bundles mission. This organization provides baby essentials to families with financial needs, getting them a positive start for their baby. This year, MPHS Baby Bundles Club will support the Baby Bundles nonprofit by collecting baby essentials, raising funds, and volunteering to help families in financial need!

Members serve as sighted guides, braille buddies, and mentors while partnering with Vi support staff at Selwyn Elementary, AG Middle School, and Myers Park. Best Buddies is a student-led service organization dedicated to creating friendships, leadership opportunities, and inclusion for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through monthly meetings, school events, and one-to-one buddy pairings, our club works to build a more welcoming and connected community at Myers Park High School. As part of the national Best Buddies organization, we promote acceptance, advocacy, and meaningful social inclusion while giving students opportunities to volunteer, lead, and form lasting friendships both inside and outside of school.

Box of Smiles is a student-led service organization dedicated to spreading kindness by creating and donating care packages to teens in need and foster youth. Founded by Avery Scrivener, the nonprofit organization has already donated over 50 boxes filled with snacks, self-care items, and small gifts to promote well-being and support. For 2026-2027, the club plans to during this school year, Box of Smiles aims to assemble and donate at least 100 care packages to teens in need and foster youth.

Brookstone Boost is student-led club that connects the club's students to a a local school in the community, called Brookstone Schools. A student-led international alliance with the organization Carolina for Kibera, that mobilizes Myers Park teens to advance girls’ education, health, and leadership in Nairobi’s informal settlements by supporting CFK Africa’s Girls Empowerment programs including teen mothers, through fundraising, awareness, advocacy, and respectful peer-to-peer exchange. For 2026-2027, CFK plans to connect MPHS students with girls and young mothers in Kibera to build reciprocal relationships that promote education, wellbeing, leadership skills, and cross-cultural understanding — while raising resources and awareness to support CFK’s on-the-ground programming. Our goals are to focus on carrying out the activities and member opportunities described in the application.

 Cookies for Kids Cancer is a student led nonprofit organization where the club work together to provide money and insight towards children with cancer especially kidney cancer and leukemia. From the yearly Cookies for Kids Cancer bake sale in Park Road to monthly contributions and bake sales surrounding Myers Park and the club's sport led occasions, the club are able to support and provide funds toward children's cancer. The club plan to improve the club's attendance this year by renewing a communications platform and giving incentives within the club's club meetings as in candy or stickers.

 The Creative Player Crew is a development of the Creative Player Foundation, a non-profit organization that develops reading and writing skills for underprivileged students, while also allowing them to play soccer. From Monday through Thursday, students will have a chance to volunteer in the afternoons, helping out a classroom of students, providing comfort, and someone for them to look up to. The goal for the Creative Player Crew is to complete a set amount of volunteer hours for the school year, which the club want to help grow the foundation.

Foster Village bridges this gap between those experiencing foster care and those who want to help, meeting practical needs and providing support beyond the system. Families experiencing foster care often feel tired and alone. Most caregivers foster for less than a year, citing burnout and lack of support. At the same time, 85 percent of people who are not foster parents say they care about vulnerable children and want to help. Through our hygiene needs and clothing needs we need your help to seek to better the lives of foster children and their families. Foster Village would love your help so please stop by!

The Katie Blessing Center Student Advisory Club serve as the Myers Park High School student branch of the larger Katie Blessing Center Advisory Council. The organization works directly alongside the Katie Blessing Center, a behavioral health hospital focused on supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health disorders, to help develop initiatives, volunteer efforts, awareness campaigns, and patient-centered programming prior to and after the hospital’s opening.

Live Like Bryant Club is a student-led service organization established by five of Bryant's closest friends to honor his memory and reflect on his values of kindness, leadership, and love for sports. Roastin' for Research is a nonprofit organization founded in support of cancer research at UNC Chapel Hill’s Children’s Hospital and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN). It has raised around $300,000 through oyster roasts, silent auctions, and fishing tournaments since 2021. Through fundraisers like oyster roasts, toy drives, and raffles, the MP Roastin' for Research chapter will contribute to the community and increase awareness among students. The Myers Park chapter of Roastin' for Research will also provide many volunteer opportunities to students at Myers Park and a place to connect with others in the community. Please stop by!

Students Against Sexual Harassment (SASH) is a national youth-led initiative and a project of the Michigan Organization on Adolescent Sexual Health (MOASH), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting healthy and safe communities. This year marks the first SASH chapter at Myers Park High School. Through discussions, educational activities, awareness campaigns, and community engagement, we aim to foster a safer, more informed, and more respectful school environment. The senior citizens social club is devoted to building strong connections between our community's older people and students. In order to spend time with residents through games, crafts, conversations, holiday festivities, and other activities, members visit nearby retirement and assisted living facilities. Our goal is to spread kindness, empathy, and community involvement in younger people while reducing loneliness among seniors. The Bright Side is a student-led club which strives to help teens build resilience, reduce stigma, and support one another through mental education, peer connection, and creative advocacy — with a focus on anxiety, stress, and suicide prevention. The Preemie Project is a student-led organization that is dedicated to supporting premature infants and their mothers/families particularly those in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our goal and mission is to support these families and preemies through hands on service, community, and volunteer work! We create and donate approved items like blankets, hats, and care packages to local hospitals and organizations to meet the needs of many families that are struggling. The Preemie Project is a way to turn compassion into action and to provide comfort and support to families during critical times.

The Think Pink club is a student-led service club that focuses on raising awareness and sharing information about breast cancer. We work with the Pink House to conduct supply drives, volunteer at in-person events, write letters to patients, and more! Our goal is to make a positive impact in the community for all those affected by breast cancer by being a resource for support. Join us today!

TLC The Learning Continues is parterned with The Learning Collaborative preschool in Greir Heights. TLC preschool is a non-profit organization that provides a tuition free, high quality education to at-risk families. We beleive that education is an essential factor of growing up, and that it is important for everyone. Our mission is to help TLC create a good learning environment for less fortunate families and future mustangs. We will collect materials to help make learning easier, and engage with the students through volunteering. Our small actions can help the preschool!

Unity club is a volunteer-based club that does a project both in the fall and spring semesters. You can also sign up for a free 10-day backpacking trip through the club if you're under 18. You have to do both fall and spring volunteering projects and come to the meetings.

UNICEF is a global non-profit that works to help the survival and development of children in underprivileged countries. This club is for student interested in working towards overcoming the obstacles such as poverty, violence, disease and discrimination place in a child's path or any students who want to find unique ways to get volunteer hours. Over the course of the year we will embody in UNICEF USA's mission through advocacy, fundraising and engaging with UNICEF USA's national youth council. UNICEF can open you to new opportunities, help you gain leadership and marketing skills, and you can find some amazing people who have similar aspirations to you.
